Evan Williams

Evan Williams is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he completed the Honors Program in Systems Engineering and conducted a research-based capstone project on the Analysis and Prediction of Disruptive Technologies for the Central Intelligence Agency. During his time at the Academy, he was a collegiate athlete and competed as a member of the Navy Boxing, Parachute, and Marathon Teams.

Captain Williams served as the Adjutant for 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion from 2012 to 2016, including an Individual Augment deployment as an Advanced Foreign Security Force Advisor in Kajaki, Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2013.
Following his active duty service, Mr. Williams graduated from General Electric’s Junior Officer Leadership Program and went on to lead four diverse business units within GE Oil & Gas and Baker Hughes. Seeking to return to a life of service, he transitioned to education and now teaches high school engineering, coaches FIRST robotics and boys’ lacrosse, and serves as the founder and sponsor of the Mustang GoRuck Club.

Mr. Williams currently serves as Secretary of the 1st LAR Battalion Association, is the former President of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association – Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, and remains active in supporting local charities and nonprofits.

He lives in Friendswood, Texas, with his wife Allison and their two daughters.
