Christopher L. DeBlanc
Christopher L. DeBlanc served with 1 st LAR Bn., Charlie Company “Warpigs” as an infantry scout (0311) from 2001 to 2005, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He deployed three times to the Middle East with 1st LAR, including the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the second battle of Fallujah in 2004. He subsequently served in Iraq as a private security contractor for the US Department of State.
Mr. DeBlanc graduated from the University of Richmond in with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting, and from American Military University with a Master’s degree in Intelligence Analysis. He also holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and holds designations as a Personal Financial Specialist and Certified Financial Planner. Mr. DeBlanc has nine years of experience working in public accounting. He is currently employed with RSM US LLP as a Tax Supervisor where he helps individuals and businesses with tax planning, tax preparation, and personal financial planning. Mr. DeBlanc is the current Treasurer of the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion Association.
Chris lives with his wife, Sofia, in Falls Church, Virginia.
